Puerto Rico Coffee Plantation Tour
Calling All Coffee Lovers!
On this adventure you will visit a private, local specialty coffee plantation, winner for three consecutive years of first place in the Best Coffee People’s Choice Award at the PR Coffee and Chocolate Expo. Located on the East-Central part of Puerto Rico, at just 45 minutes approximately from San Juan, is a great alternative to learn more about Puerto Rico’s roots and traditions.
Upon arrival to the Hacienda you will enjoy a 1 hour and 15 minutes tour as you walk thru the different areas of the farm. You will be able to appreciate the coffee plants and the machinery that is used, while learning about the history, growing process of coffee, and the flora and fauna of the area; and culminating in a small tasting.
After the tour you will have the opportunity to visit their gift shop, have lunch at their on site traditional Puerto Rican restaurant, venture to their memorabilia sports bar or just enjoy a quick bite and another cup of coffee at their in house coffee shop (food and beverage cost not included).
What Is Not Included?
Please Note:
- Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
- Leisure time allocated after the guided tour is up to 2 hours, additional time and costs may be incurred. Scheduled return time to San Juan 1:30pm.
- Complimentary car seats or booster seats available upon request.
- Minimum of 4 persons required in order for regular group tour to take place.
- Pick ups in San Juan begin around 8:30 am. Exact pick up time and location will be provided the day before the tour.
