A Snorkel Adventure Through the Turquoise Waters of Culebra
Experience a snorkeling tour like no other when you visit the breathtaking white sandy beaches and warm waters of Culebra. Less than 20 miles off the northeast coast of Puerto Rico, this seven by five-mile island is an internationally renowned natural preserve for marine and plant life in the area.
You’ll begin your tour with a 45-minute ride on a high-speed powerboat. Once you arrive at Culebra’s beautiful reefs, you’ll have the opportunity to explore via snorkel for roughly an hour and a half. Depending on water conditions and weather, your captain may take you to Luis Pena, Carlos Rosario, or Melones. Regardless of the location your tour stops at, you are in for a visual underwater treat!
Before entering the water, you’ll be fitted with included snorkeling gear and be given a “101” orientation. After that, feel free to jump in! Keep an eye peeled for stingrays, starfish, lobsters, and colorful fish as you follow your certified professional tour guide through the reefs. These reefs are one of the most productive ecosystems on the planet, which makes them vital to the environmental health of the region.
After your excursion, you’ll have lunch and relax on Flamenco Beach. Flamenco Beach has two old navy tanks that provide some unique photo opportunities. Occasionally, water conditions might require docking at Culebrita or Playa Tortuga instead, but both locations are also home to beautiful beaches. A minimum of eight persons are required to operate the tour. If this minimum is not met, there is a possibility that the tour will be canceled. In these cases, you will be offered an alternative tour date or a full refund.

Be aware that the tour route travels through open water, which can get choppy. If the captain finds conditions unsafe for any reason, he might choose a different island/cay destination than the original location.
- All children on the tour should know how to swim.
- We highly recommend that guests bring sunblock and towels.
- This tour does not stop at a pier. All guests must swim from the boat to shore.
- A child’s ticket is the same price as an adult’s. Guests must specify which members of their party are children at the time of booking.
Safety Requirements and Limitations

Pregnant women and guests with previous injuries, back problems, knee problems, fear of heights, and recent surgeries cannot participate.
- Children must be at least five years old to participate.
- Maximum weight to participate is 300 pounds per person.
